On April 22, a representative of the “Atamnın amanatı – Atalar əhdi” Public Association based in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan, Aliya Sagimbayeva, visited the National Library.

The guest was welcomed by the Director of the National Library, Professor Karim Tahirov. Speaking about the relations between the National Academic Library of Kazakhstan and the Azerbaijan National Library, the Director highlighted the signing of a memorandum on mutual cooperation between the libraries, as well as the opening of Literature Sections.

During the visit, Aliya Sagimbayeva donated the following books to the National Library’s collection: “Хикметы” Часть I: 1-85 хикметы, Приключения Бату и его друзей в поисках Золотой чаши, Приключения Бату и его друзей в звездной стране Айдала, and Приключения Бату и его друзей в стране Барсакелмес.
