At the initiative of the King Salman International Academy of the Arabic Language, operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, August was declared “Arabic Language Month” in Azerbaijan. The Director of the Azerbaijan National Library, Professor Karim Tahirov, attended the official opening ceremony of the “Arabic Language Month” held at Baku State University (BSU). The Director General of the King Salman International Academy of the Arabic Language, Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi, gifted books to the Azerbaijan National Library to promote the Arabic language.
