An outstanding representative of Azerbaijani literature, philosopher-poet, great dramatist Huseyn Javid occupies one of the leading places in the history of literature. Huseyn Javid, who has made exceptional contributions to the development of Azerbaijani literature, is a master of words who has passed an original creative path unlike anyone else in art and left immortal works behind him. Last year, the 140th anniversary of the writer, who confronted good and evil throughout his creativity and made his artistic contribution to the victory of universal good, was completed. For this purpose, the National Library of Azerbaijan prepared a bibliography from the series "Prominent personalities of Azerbaijan".

The material covering the years 1904-2022 includes the writer's books, works published in textbooks, anthologies, periodicals, literature reflecting his life and creativity. Bibliographical descriptions of the works and literature about them preserved in foreign languages and in the world's leading libraries are also included in the materials.
