The presentation ceremony of the book "We were born for the Motherland" by the honored journalist Amina Yusifgizi, which tells about the warpath of 65 fighters from Yevlakh who heroically died in the Second Karabakh War, was held on July 5, at the National Library with the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Press Council and the National Library.

Director of the National Library Prof. Karim Tahirov opened the event and greeted the event participants and the memory of those who died in the Patriotic War was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Later, Karim Tahirov said that today we have gathered for the presentation of a book about the battle path of the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the fulfillment of the long-awaited dream of Azerbaijanis all over the world in 44 days.

It is a history that will never be forgotten. Director Karim Tahirov said that under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the victorious Azerbaijani army returned to us our native Shusha, our Karabakh," and mentioned that the people of Azerbaijan will never forget those martyrs who faced death, their heroism, and the martyrs will always live in the hearts of our people.

Later, Karim Tahriov gave the floor to the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Press Council, Honored journalist Aflatun Amashov. Aflatun Amashov said that the book we gathered for the presentation today contains an essay about 65 Yevlakh residents who died during the Second Karabakh War. Since the release of the publication coincided with the year of martyrdom of Yevlakh heroes, the author added the rubric "A year without a martyr" at the end of each essay. "The most significant task of the people of words, writers and poets, is to perpetuate the memories of the heroes and martyrs who turned the land into the Motherland with their blood and pass them on to the future generations," noted Aflatun Amashov.

Then Mohabbat Mehdiyeva, Honored Art Worker, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, and, editor of the book, gave a speech. First of all, she expressed her gratitude to the director of the National Library, prof. Karim Tahirova for hosting the event.

Noting that the book "We were born for the Motherland" is the second book written by Ms. Amina about Yevlakh martyrs, Ms. Mohabbat said that respect for the martyrs and their families made Ms. Amina write a book on this topic for the second time. She emphasized that while writing the book, Amina met with the families of the martyrs many times and wrote the book with tears. She also said that this book is a kind of consolation for the families of the martyrs.

Afterwards, Tunzala Mammadova, the wife of Martyr Lieutenant Colonel Soltan Mammadov, the responsible employee of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, said that in order to perpetuate the names of the martyrs and for the future generations to know them better, it is very substantial to publish such books and make films about the battle path of the martyrs for the Motherland, nation, and flag.

Head of the department of BSU, doctor of philology, Professor Jahangir Mammadli made a speech and said that the topic of martyrs is not forgotten even for a moment. Articles about this are regularly published in newspapers, but publishing such a book about martyrs is a big initiative.

BSU professor, honorary citizen of Yevlakh Adila Abbasova said in her speech that everyone who reads the book, regardless of who they are, experiences the same feelings and emotions. She also noted that "We will return to Shusha!" fulfilling the will of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the Commander-in-Chief, fulfilled the long-awaited dream of the entire Azerbaijani people. At the end of her speech, Ms. Adila thanked the mothers of the martyrs for raising such heroic sons and said that she bowed to all the families of the martyrs.

Rafiq Aliyev, the chairman of the YAP Yevlakh district organization, said in his speech that we are the representatives of the heroic people who risked their lives for the sake of the Motherland. "We saw this again during the first Karabakh war, the April battles, and the second Karabakh war," he added.

Later, Khaliq Aliyev, head of Yevlakh City Executive Authority's department for the organization of work with the families of the Patriotic War and martyrs, said that the 44-day Karabakh War II showed the unity of the Azerbaijani people to the whole world. He also said that a lot of work was done to perpetuate the memory of the martyrs, streets, schools, and institutions were named after them, and monuments were placed. He emphasized that the writing of such books about their heroism played a big role in the recognition of the heroic sons of the Azerbaijani people.

In the continuation of the event, the editor-in-chief of the "525th newspaper", deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan Writers Union, Rashad Majid, Honored cultural worker Mustafa Chamanli, lecturer of the law faculty of BSU, associate professor Asmar Aliyeva, rector of Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University Ilham Madatov, doctor of philosophy in finance. , our compatriot Etibar Demirov, who lives in America, Akif Ashirli, founder and editor-in-chief of "Sharq" newspaper, writer, professor Zahid Khalil, and others spoke and stated that the book is a great contribution to the recognition of the martyrs of the Azerbaijani people, continuing this trend, they emphasized the necessity of writing such books about the martyrs of other regions and cities.

Then war veteran Zaur Bayramoglu, Zeynab Ismayilova, mother of martyr Veyis Ismayilov, wife of martyr Togrul Barkhudarov, an employee of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Zahra Barkhudarova, aunt of martyr Faig Adigozalov, Zohra Adigozalova, and others spoke for the attention and care they showed to the families of witnesses and veterans, as well as to them and thanked everyone for their moral support.

At the end of the event, the author of the book, Honored Journalist Amina Yusifgizi, made a speech and noted that she wrote this book with tears, that she visited each martyr's family many times before writing the book, and wrote it by experiencing their pain, emotions, and excitement. She also noted that his proud, strong, head-high martyred mothers, wives, and sisters gave her the strength to write this book.

In the end, the author of the book, Amina Yusifgizi, thanked the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Library for organizing the event.
