Starting from January 26, online training sessions on the Koha Automated Library Information System (ALIS) have been launched at the National Library for staff members of regional libraries.

Employees of the Centralized Library Systems operating under the Regional Culture Departments of Absheron-Khizi, Guba-Khachmaz, Mountainous Shirvan, Sheki-Zagatala, Central Aran, Gazakh-Tovuz, Ganja-Dashkasan, East Zangezur, Karabakh, Mil-Mugan, Shirvan-Salyan, and Lankaran-Astara are participating in the training. The program is scheduled to conclude on January 30.

Within the framework of the program, participants are provided with detailed theoretical information on the updated modules of the Koha library automation system. At the same time, practical operations aligned with real work processes are demonstrated through screen sharing. During the training sessions, current issues encountered by specialists in their daily work are discussed, participants’ questions are answered, and relevant explanations are given to address existing challenges.
