Taking into account the innovations and improvements implemented in Koha ILS, the Azerbaijan National Library launched an 8-day online training program starting on January 21.

The training sessions held from January 21 to 23 were attended by staff from the Centralized Library Systems of the Baku City Department of Culture, the Republican Youth Library named after C. Cabbarly, and the Republican Children’s Library named after F. Kocharli.

The main purpose of the online training is to ensure that library staff understand the recent updates in the Koha software accurately and effectively, learn how to use the updated functions in practice, and receive methodological support for resolving challenges encountered while using the system. The training also contributes to the formation of unified work principles across libraries and helps improve the quality of electronic services.

Within the training program, participants are provided with detailed theoretical information about the updated Koha modules, and practical operations are demonstrated through screen sharing, reflecting real work processes. In addition, participants’ daily challenges are discussed, questions are answered, and explanations are provided on how to solve existing problems.
