On October 13, jubilee event dedicated to the 110^th anniversary of the birth of National poet Samed Vurgun was held at Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre, by the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and Azerbaijan Writers’ Union.

At the event, book exhibition under the title of “Samed Vurgun – 110” was opened by the National Library. The poet’s works and translations, books, newspapers and magazines written about him, and also his works that translated into different languages were on display. The exhibition caused great interest of the participants.
