On November 15, in the "Zafar" (“Victory”) Presentation Zone of the Baku Expo Center, a book donation ceremony was held by publishers to support the book collection campaign "Let's go with a book to Karabakh", a joint project of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Library.

Director of the National Library, professor Karim Tahirov opened the event, greeted the participants and said that the project has been going on for 3 years. In his speech, the director emphasized that 975 libraries were destroyed and 4,600,000 books were burned in the territories liberated from the enemy. He noted that the main goal of the "Let's go with a book to Karabakh" project, implemented jointly with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is to collect books for the libraries to be restored, and that 130,000 books have already been collected for the library funds of the territories liberated from occupation.

Akif Marifli, head of the Book Industry Department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Elmira Akhundova, People's Writer of the Republic of Azerbaijan, spoke during the event. During the speech, the importance of the project was discussed and it was emphasized that the project is one of the most successful projects.

Publishing houses of the Republic and other countries joined this project and donated their publications to the Karabakh Foundation.
