The International Day of Peace emphasizes the importance of preventing violence and promoting peaceful relations not only between nations but also within communities, families, and educational institutions. The day encourages people around the world to support dialogue, mutual understanding, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
At the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the observance is traditionally marked by the ringing of the Peace Bell, symbolizing the shared aspiration for a world free from conflict.
The exhibition also highlights Azerbaijan's stated commitment to establishing lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus, including diplomatic efforts aimed at normalizing relations with Armenia and strengthening regional security.
In addition, the displayed materials address Azerbaijan's participation in international dialogue on multiculturalism, tolerance, and intercultural cooperation, reflecting the importance of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence in contemporary society.
The exhibition aims to raise public awareness of the value of peace, encourage understanding among nations, and promote the principles of dialogue, cooperation, and sustainable development.
