The electronic database prepared by the staff of the National library is dedicated to Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev, prominent political and state figure of Azerbaijan, former president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, National leader of the Azerbaijani people, and founder of the independent Azerbaijan. “The National Leader of the Azerbaijani people” electronic database consists of the sections “Official Documents”, “Heydar Aliyev – Immortal Person”, “His Works”, “Publications about him”, “HeydarAliyev period in the development of our culture”, “Heydar Aliyev in world libraries”, “Heydar Aliyev in fiction and art”, “Perpetuating his memory”, “Photo gallery” and “Video gallery”. This e-database provides books, articles, speeches in Azerbaijani, Russian, English and other languages, his Orders and Decrees related to culture, materials and other documents about his participation in the events held in the National library. “Heydar Aliyev in world libraries” section contains thenational leader’s works, as well as materials about him, stored in world national libraries and leading university libraries.
