On April 11, 2026, Elnur Kazimov, a permanent reader of the National Library, donated a rare and valuable publication to the National Library of Azerbaijan.

One of the thousands of valuable books preserved in the National Library is “Zubdatut-Tavarekh,” authored by Haji Hasan Ganjavi Mollazadeh and published between 1905 and 1913 in Ganja and Tbilisi. The work consists of 4 volumes in 6 parts, of which 4 parts are preserved in the National Library. Elnur Kazimov contributed to enriching the library’s collection by donating the first part of Volume IV from his personal collection.

The donated copy of “Zubdatut-Tavarekh,” Volume IV, Part I, was printed in 1912 (1330 Hijri calendar) in Ganja at the Abilov and Hagverdiyev printing house. The book covers the historical period from the rise of Amir Timur to the emergence of the Qajar state.
