An event dedicated to "September 27 - Remembrance Day" was held in the National Library

On September 27, an event related to "September 27 – Remembrance Day" was held in the Exhibition Hall of the National Library of Azerbaijan. First of all, the memory of our martyrs who died for the liberation of Azerbaijan lands was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Then, the director of the National Library, professor Karim Tahirov spoke and said that the 44-day Karabakh War II, which started 2 years ago, is the history of our glorious victory written in gold numbers in the history of Azerbaijan, including the world. The people of Azerbaijan and our glorious army won a great victory in the 44-day Karabakh war under the decisive leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and our lands were liberated from occupation.

During his speech, he said that in the days of war, the Azerbaijani soldier became a real example of heroism, bravery, valor, courage. The enormous fortifications built by the enemy over 30 years by spending billions were destroyed in a short period of time, and the war strategy implemented by Azerbaijan was engraved as a leading example in modern military history.

During his speech, the director emphasized that we had many martyrs in our 44-day war for justice.We owe them what we are today. Even after hundreds of years, the people of Azerbaijan will never forget their martyrs.

He noted that books will be written and films will be made about the great victories achieved by the Azerbaijani Army in the counter-offensive operation against the invading Armenian armed forces on September 27. At the end of his speech, K. Tahirov said that today, under the leadership of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Azerbaijan is known all over the world as a victorious state, and our people are a proud nation.

At the end, the participants got acquainted with the traditional book exhibition called "September 27 – Remembrance Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan".
