On September 29, the solemn jubilee event organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism was held at Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall on the occasion of the 90^th anniversary of the birth of the National poet Gabil (Gabil Allahverdi Imamverdiyev) – one of the outstanding representatives of Azerbaijani literature.

Book exhibition named “National poet Gabil – 90” related to the life and work of the poet was opened in the event by the National Library. The poet’s books in Azerbaijani and Russian languages, the books written about him, newspaper and magazines were on display. The exhibition caused great interest of the participants.
