Library staff working under the Ministry of Culture of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic completed an internship at the National Library with the aim of applying modern library and information technologies and acquiring advanced working methods.

During the internship, participants became closely acquainted with the advanced practices implemented at the National Library, including modern management mechanisms, principles of collection development and organization, methods of providing information services, as well as digitization processes and the management of electronic resources.

Within the framework of the program, particular attention was also paid to the application of international standards in librarianship, integration of information exchange systems, development of user-oriented service models, and the implementation of modern technologies in library activities.

A total of 10 library specialists participated in the program, representing the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.S. Ordubadi, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Children’s Library named after A. Babayev, as well as the centralized library systems of Nakhchivan city, Sharur, Ordubad, and Kangarli districts.
