On July 29, the presentation ceremony of the book "For the Motherland" by the young writer Ramil Beylerli was held at the Open Library operating under the National Library.

Adiba Ismayilova, deputy director of the National Library, doctor of philosophy in history, opened the event and greeted the guests, spoke about various projects implemented in the Open Library for the purpose of promoting reading, said that the presented book was dedicated to the heroes of the 44-day Patriotic War, and that the battle scenes written by the author based on what he heard created a vivid impression on a person. Saying that the life path of a young man named Altay, his struggle at the front, bravery and rising to the peak of martyrdom are reflected, the deputy director noted that this first book of the author is a beautiful and effective work for the beginning, and gave the word to the author.

The author greeted everyone, said that he grew up in a military family, was influenced by the meetings and conversations with veterans, and was influenced by the wartime processes, and wrote this book written in the spirit of patriotism, and expressed his gratitude to the National Library for organizing the presentation.

Ismikhan Babayev, a member of the Open Library "Volunteer Group", spoke about the work and briefly commented on the events described in the book.

The editor of the book, Ulkar Hajiyeva, the staff members of the library, Tarana Jafarova and Aygün Kochak, thanked the author for the beautiful work created and wished success in the creative path.
