On April 19, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan joint with the Executive Power of Terter and Azerbaijan National Library held an exhibition-conference on “The personal books donated to Azerbaijan National Library by the great leader Heydar Aliyev” dedicated to the 93^rd anniversary of the birth of great leader Hedar Aliyev.
First, the participants of the event visited the great leader Heydar Aliyev’s monument in Terter, then a short video on Heydar Aliyev’s speech at the national Library on June 3, 1995 was shown.
Mustagim Mammadov – the head of the Executive Power of Terter region, professor Karim Tahirov – director of Azerbaijan National Library, Rasim Suleimanov – senior lecturer of the Bibliology and Publishing Chair  of Baku State University, doctor of philosophy, and cultural workers and intellectuals took part in the conference.
In the conference, director of the National Library Karim Tahirov delivered an extensive lecture on the topic “Great leader Heydar Aliyev and book culture of Azerbaijan”. Then, in their speeches, Ilduza Gurbanova – the director of Terter region Central Library System, Salima Yusifova – director of Heydar Aliyev Center and Zabil Zeynalov – director of secondary school of Terter region  Umudlu village spoke about the contributions of the great leader to Azerbaijan culture.
At the end of the conference, the guests viewed the exhibition. The exhibition consisting of the books donated to the National Library by the great leader Heydar Aliyev caused great interest of the participants of the event.
