The exhibition presents literature in Azerbaijani and foreign languages dedicated to the works, life, and creativity of the People’s Artist.

It should be noted that thanks to his innate talent, master painter, monumental and theater artist Toghrul Farman oglu Narimanbeyov made valuable contributions to our culture. He was born on August 7, 1930, in Baku. In 1950, he graduated from the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade, and in 1955, from the State Art Institute of Lithuania in Vilnius. Since 1950, he had participated in numerous local and international exhibitions, and in 1955 he became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

He repeatedly held solo exhibitions both in Azerbaijan and abroad. Today, his works are preserved in museums, galleries, and private collections in various countries around the world.

Toghrul Narimanbeyov’s creativity was multifaceted, encompassing thematic paintings, portraits, landscapes, still lifes, graphic works, murals, and theater decorations.

Among the works from the early period of his career are “Bayil Landscape”, “Stronger than the Storm”, “Happiness”, “Joy”, “For the Sake of Life”, “For a Bright Future”, and others. Notable later works include “In the Studio”, “At the Cafe”, “Maiden Tower”, “In the Talysh Mountains”, “At the Summer Pasture”, “Shepherd’s Family”, “Harvest Festival”, “Tea House in the Garden”, “Market in Baku”, among many others—each deserving detailed attention as significant works of art.
