2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the National Library of Azerbaijan. On this occasion, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, signed the Decree "On celebrating the 100th anniversary of the National Library of Azerbaijan" on June 24. The library, which has followed an honorable path since its inception, has always adequately coped with the tasks set before it and has played an important role as a base in increasing the intellectual potential of the society during the past period. and it is noted that our nation has become a cultural treasure by enriching it with valuable information carriers.

On this occasion, on June 25, the director of the National Library of Azerbaijan, prof. Karim Tahirov congratulated the collective and expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the collective to our honorable president Mr. Ilham Aliyev for his special attention to the National Library, which is a reliable protector of national and spiritual resources, and for the order he signed to ensure the celebration of its anniversary.
