A book exhibition called "People's Artist Ramiz Mirishli" was opened in the National Library

The outstanding composer of Azerbaijan, People's Artist, professor Ramiz Agil Mirishli was born on April 16, 1934 in Nakhchivan. After graduating from secondary school in Nakhchivan, he studied at the music school named after Asaf Zeynalli in 1952-1954. In 1956-1962, he studied composition at the Azerbaijan State Conservatory named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli.

Ramiz Mirishli addressed the most diverse genres in his work, composed a string quartet, a concerto for string and symphony orchestra, a symphony for chamber orchestra, a concerto and suites for folk instruments orchestra, and a piano trio. "Bir könül sındırmışam - I have broken a heart", " Dalğalar - Waves", " Könül verdim - I gave my heart", " Sənsən ürəyim - You are my heart", " Səndən danışdı - You are talked", " Mən sənə neyləmişəm  - What have I done to you", " Oxu, tar - Sound, tar", " Səadət - Happiness", "Gazes that love you" and is the author of the songs.

The artistic qualities of Ramiz Mirishli's art were also revealed in the music he composed for theater plays and movies. His stage works include 2 musical comedies and the music he wrote for more than 40 works performed in various theaters of the republic.

Ramiz Mirishli's services in the development of Azerbaijani musical culture were duly appreciated. For his achievements in the field of musical art in our country, he was awarded with the "Şöhrət - Fame" and "Şərəf - Honor" orders from the highest awards of the independent Republic of Azerbaijan.

A large book exhibition called "People's artist Ramiz Mirishli" was prepared in connection with the 90th anniversary of the famous composer in the National Library.

In the exhibition, the music notes of the composer's works preserved in the National Library's collection, the books dedicated to his life and work, which he commented on, are displayed in Azerbaijani and Russian languages.

The exhibition will last 1 week.
