On April 25, Carlo Marino, a participant of the international forum "COP29 and Green Vision for Azerbaijan", vice-president of the Italy-Azerbaijan Association in Milan, founder and director of the Eurasiaticanews portal, visited the National Library. The Italian journalist is also the author of the book about the Second Karabakh War.

The journalist was given detailed information about the establishment, activities, service areas, reading rooms and international relations of the National Library. The guest got acquainted with the literature corners of the countries represented in the International Cooperation Hall of the library. While in the department of the rare books and library museum, the ancient and rare books, miniature book collection, and exhibits kept here attracted special attention of the journalist. Later, the guest was informed in detail about the recordings, sheet music and rich music literature preserved in the library's sheet music publications and recordings department.
