On March 7, a presentation ceremony of the book "Cаида Иманзаде" dedicated to the memory of Saida Imanzadeh, a prominent representative of the women's movement in our country, a social and political figure, an honored teacher, was held at the National Library of Azerbaijan. Well-known figures of science and culture and family members of Saida Imanzadeh participated in the presentation ceremony.

The director of the National Library opened the event by greeting the guests, prof. Karim Tahirov congratulated all women on March 8 "International Women's Day". He noted that Saida Imanzade played an exceptional role in the fate of the nation, fulfilled the mission of rescuing the nation at fateful moments with honor, and was one of the women leading the national movement against the enemies of women's freedom, against ignorance and illiteracy.

Dr. Dilara Seyidzadeh, doctor of historical sciences, spoke about the activities of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and the special value he gave to women. Emphasizing the importance of the book dedicated to Saida Imanzadeh, he said that the image of Mrs. Saida and the study of her heritage are very important for our youth today.

Member of the Milli Majlis, professor Anar Iskenderov, as a student of Ms. Saida, described her as a very elegant lady with a national spirit, a fair educator and teacher who treats her students with love and care.

BSU department head, professor Irada Huseynova emphasized that this day has a great meaning and character and said that she is in close communication with Ms. Saida. He noted that Ms. Saida, who has followed the women's liberation movement since her youth and directly participated in this movement with her scientific, pedagogical and social activities, has published more than 75 booklets and articles on that topic. He added that S. Imanzade's books "Women in society and family", "Let's raise the honor of women and mothers", "Islamic religion and women's issue", "Azerbaijani women in the Great Patriotic War" and "Azerbaijani women on the front of culture" show the difficult history of the struggle for women's freedom in Azerbaijan. , has covered the contradictory, complex, but also glorious period as objectively as possible, taking into account the political frameworks and prohibitions of the time, and the political conjuncture. Huseyn Javid ended his speech with the verses "If a woman laughs, this desolate environment of ours will laugh, and the drifting humanity will rise with a woman."

Kamala Hashimova, the deputy head of the Sabail District Executive Power, spoke about the effective activity of Mrs. Saida Imanzadeh as the head of the Girls' Boarding School in Baku, the director of school No. 132, one of the leading educational institutions, and the dean of the history faculty at Baku State University for many years.

Mrs. Saida's niece, doctor Sadaqat, pointed out that Saida is a lady who attracts women not only in the society, but also in the family. He noted that Ms. Saida was one of the active members of the organization called "Women's Representatives Meeting", where she worked among Azerbaijani women and explained women's rights and opportunities. She focused all her efforts on the fight for women's rights. He added that the multifaceted activity of Mrs. Saida Imanzade, who dedicated her whole life to teaching, was highly appreciated - first of all, her pedagogical activity. Thus, in 1943, Ms. Saida was awarded the honorary title of "Honored teacher" of the republic. In 1944, she was awarded the "Defense of the Caucasus" medal, and in 1945, "For selfless work on the rear front in 1941-1945". In 1946, Ms. Saida Imanzadeh was awarded the Order of Lenin.

The editor-in-chief of "Neft Daşlari" newspaper, Kheyrulla Agayev, said that Ms. Saida was the favorite teacher of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, although the great leader offered Ms. Saida various positions, especially leadership positions, during the time when the great leader led Azerbaijan, but the humble woman prioritized teaching over all positions and did not agree to the proposal of her favorite student at BSU. noted that he continues his teaching activities.

Saida Khanum's son, a prominent diplomat, Mubariz Imanzade said that he was happy that he was able to raise the memory of Saida Khanum today as a son. Doctor of historical sciences Dilara khanum, director of the National Library prof. Karim Tahirova also expressed his deep gratitude to all the participants of the event.
