On April 13, a presentation ceremony was held at the National Library of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture and the National Library of the Republic of Azerbaijan, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Library.

During the event, the work done by the National Library of Azerbaijan in promoting our musical heritage was discussed. It was noted that one of the most important projects implemented together with the Ministry of Culture is the project called "From our National Musical Treasure (from the fund of the National Library of Azerbaijan)". Until now, the library has published the musical works of prominent Azerbaijani composers from that series in the form of separate collections and presented them to the music community. More than 100 sets of sheet music were presented to the Azerbaijani musical community by the library. It was noted that these publications, dedicated to our genius composers, are intended for children's music school students, students of higher music schools, and musicologists.

Later, the participants of the event talked about the colorful creativity of the famous composer Rauf Hajiyev, his honorable artistic path, and the work he did to promote Azerbaijani music in the world.

Employees of the National Library compiled a bibliography dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Rauf Hajiyev, a prominent composer and statesman of Azerbaijan, People's Artist of the USSR. The bibliography includes the composer's works, sheet music publications, audio recordings, books, materials about his life and work, as well as publications preserved in the national libraries of the world.
